performance anxiety

this phenomenon can be applied to many pages in my book right now.
i've kind of got a full house when it comes to anxieity right now.
my new kitten is real sick. she got some URI going on right now.
thats vet talk for UPPER RESPIRITORY INFECTION.
so it's one of those "it's going to get worse before it gets better" situations.
i'm trying to think of when the last time i heard that was?
it was probably a really bad Tom Cruise movie.

Tom Cruise seems to always be the best in every movie.
i can't ever seem to recall a movie where he just played an average guy.
what ever he does he's the best.

RISKY BUSINESS.......he was the riskiest high school student ever. he gave Bob Seeger and RAY BAN's a reason to be the best too.
COLOR of MONEY.........Vincent was the shark w/ a little Hustle from the best himself. Fast Eddie. the best pool player.
COCKTAIL...................the best bartender. KoKomo
ALL THE RIGHT MOVES.................best football player
MISSION IMPOSSIBLE...................he was so much the best. he had to be the best for 3 movies.
TOP GUN............................nobody buzzed the tower like him.


i'm not sure what my Cruise powers would be.
but if i could borrow a little of that awesome "AGAISNT ALL ODDS " Cruise effect and send it to the Kitty that would be great.

maye that's the closest i've come to prayer in 30 years. does that mean i'm a scientologist?
